Fayzabad, Afghanistan is shaken by an earthquake of magnitude 5.9, and tremors may be felt in Punjab and Haryana

According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), an earthquake of magnitude 5.9 occurred 70 km east-southeast of Fayzabad, Afghanistan, at around 10:19 am.
On Sunday, numerous areas of Punjab, Haryana, and Jammu & Kashmir reported earthquake vibrations.
In J&K, tremors were also detected in Poonch and Srinagar.
In J&K, quakes were also reported in Poonch and Srinagar. A 6.3-magnitude earthquake, according to some social media users, was felt in many metropolitan areas in Pakistan, including Islamabad, Peshawar, Lahore, and others.
