<p>The persons of Indian descent are among the best paid CEOs in the US thanks to their high-ranking positions and their millions of dollars in annual salaries.</p>
<p>Musk responded late on Saturday with the word “Impressive” after the World of Statistics published on X (previously Twitter) a list of high-profile employees of Indian descent.</p>
<p>In response, his supporters said that “Indians are some of the hardest-working people.”</p>
<p>India is even the “CEO of Moon’s South Pole,” a Musk supporter quipped, after the nation’s Chandrayaan-3 Moon mission was successfully landed.</p>
<p>Sanjay Mehrotra, Shantanu Narayen, and Satya Nadella are the CEOs of Micron Technology, Adobe, and Microsoft, respectively, at the moment. Among the top IT titans, Sunder Pichai is the CEO of Alphabet and Google, while Jay Chaudhry is the CEO of cloud security provider Zscaler, Arvind Krishna is the CEO of IBM, Neal Mohan is the CEO of YouTube, and George Kurian is the CEO of NetApp.</p>
<p>By becoming the first worldwide CEO of Indian descent to lead the French luxury fashion business Chanel, Leena Nair smashed all boundaries. Laxman Narasimhan is the CEO of Starbucks, while Amrapali ‘Ami’ Gan served as CEO of the adult entertainment website OnlyFans until she resigned in July of this year.</p>
<p>The CEO of the online video platform Vimeo is Anjali Sud, while the CEO of VMware is Rangarajan Raghuram.</p>
<p>Musk is anticipating his trip to India next year because he wants to build a Tesla supply chain ecosystem there.</p>
